Fun With Werewolves

Werewolf pd 4

“I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand, walking through the streets of Soho in the rain…”

Sorry guys, I could not resist!   In honor of tonight’s full moon, this short video combines one of my favorite horror movies and one of my favorite songs.

To bring out the howler in us all 🙂

Another very classic song. I think Bob Dylan actually did a live cover once. Considering BD is …sort of miserable… That means something! I had heard this song before him of course, but for some reason he did it. There must have been something about Zevon.

    • OMG — if Dylan did this I have never come across it! That is funny. I might have to search for that one! There are similarities between Dylan and Zevon though, when you think about it. Both very prolific!

Yes Dylan did it but it’s on a bootleg because it was live. I had a big period where, thanks to a certain website, I became deeply obsessed with collecting Dylan live tapes. I honestly can’t even dig his albums anymore because of how awesome the live tapes were instead. I listened to him perform some of those songs a thousand times. In the late 80s and early 90s he often changed the interpretations DRAMATICALLY.

      • Really? Well that is quite interesting. His songs are so interesting because they are so open for interpretation.
