Oh it has gotten ridiculous. But I think now more people are realizing it actually IS ridiculous! Especially since we have had shootings here in the US.
We have Boxing Day sales in Australia and it can get pretty wild. I avoid them at all costs. Watching people go crazy for stuff is not how I want to spend my holidays. Your six words sum up the madness brilliantly!
Thanks! I have been boycotting Black Friday for years. We have even had people get shot and injured trying to obtain so called ‘sales’ items. NOT worth it! I stay home and find something else to do.
They crossed a lot of lines with it. For one thing, running the sales on Thanksgiving Day! That was absurd. More and more, people are boycotting it, which is great 🙂
Yes, I hate how they did that. It’s because they only care about sales & are super greedy! It’s also though, because so many people are willing to go to those sales or line up at like 4a.m. the day before in some cases.
To each their own but, that’s just insane in my opinion.
