Equal parts dark and light, equal parts day and night. As the sun wanes in the North so do we. The long
but
necessary
sleep jumps from the tilt of the sky.
Crops harvest, land rests, hot beat of summer gone. Painted now in cool splashes. Citrine
amber, scarlet. Rich jewels to ripen and brighten
the oncoming night.
Have a Blessed Mabon.
Beautiful poetry and I’M SO HAPPY FALL IS HERE! 🙂

Thanks. Personally I have a very hard time with fall. I am a summer dweller through and through! BUT I must accept it. Besides, Halloween is coming, so that’s good 🙂

Fall is my 2nd favorite season. Winter is my favorite. Still, October is my favorite month and Halloween is obviously is my favorite holiday! I suffer through Spring & Summer. Xp

Ah, and I think winter is the worst! Except for the winter solstice, return of the sun. Well then, I shall balance you and you shall balance me 🙂

Balance indeed! I like the part of Summer where it ends and it gets all Fall dark again. Xp
